About the Event
Visible Mending/Hand Sewing Workshop
We are excited to announce a further Denman Grant-funded workshop on Monday 11 May led by Carol Norley-Hunt.
Offering relaxing hand sewing skills for the repair and enhancement of textiles including knitwear. Involving the patching of garments using Sashiko and Boro techniques: decorative hand stitching, mending and embellishment.
There will be samples of repaired garments and photographs of “before and after” repairs to offer ideas and inspiration.
