A welcome return to Royal Windsor, with the additional opportunity to view the final resting place of our late Sovereign, Queen Elizabeth II. A Blue Badge Guide will look after us during this glorious day out, visiting additional rooms in the Castle, known as the Semi State Apartments.  We will go inside St George’s Chapel where we will see Her Majesty’s final resting place, alongside her beloved husband, the Duke of Edinburgh.  After that we will take a guided tour of the Royal landscape including the Long Walk, which had been lined by thousands of people for the Queen’s final journey.  To round off this memorable day out we will visit the Windsor Farm Shop where we can buy goodies and refreshments. We will look to arrive in Windsor for 10.30am and depart for home at 4.30pm. This will be a wonderful occasion to pay our respects to our late Queen - and fellow WI member of some 79 years standing.
