Packwood House (NT) and Merry Hill Shopping Centre

Packwood House, a National Trust property in Warwickshire, is surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside. It was described by a guest as ‘a house to dream of, a garden to dream in’. Lovingly restored at the beginning of the 20th century by Graham Baron Ash, you can discover the detail behind the man, his passion for collecting and his collection. The gardens include brightly coloured herbaceous borders, famous sculpted yews and an 18th century gentleman’s kitchen garden!

After coffee, we will move on to Merry Hill shopping centre in the West Midlands, where we find a selection of eateries for lunch and a mass of shops for browsing or buying.
