Norfolk Holiday

Well the holiday team have certainly come up trumps for the first WI holiday of 2026. We invite you to join us on our trip to Norfolk – famous for Aviva (Norwich Union), Coleman’s, Lotus Cars and Bernard Matthews!

This county is steeped in history, from the Roman era when Boudica, leader of the Iceni led the revolt of AD60 to when the Angles settled in the area in the fifth century to form The Kingdom of East Anglia. During the later Middle Ages the country became very prosperous, being heavily involved in the wool trade and this allowed the construction of many large churches, many of which are still able to be visited. Today the economy is mainly based on agriculture and tourism. So a wonderful county to visit.
