About the Event
We know many of you have already enjoyed talks by Gillian Cane and we are thrilled to be able to present this brand-new talk which Gillian has created especially for this occasion.
Gillian will explore the beautiful Oxfordshire village of Kelmscott and all that it has to offer, including the link to the very first Oxfordshire WI, the very talented May Morris and the impact she had on the period. May’s work was often misattributed as that of her father, William Morris. Gillian will also tell us more about the manor and the village. A talk not to miss!
Tea/coffee & cake will be served but, if possible, please bring your own mug.
There is plenty of parking at the venue.
