Cruising into Christmas

Thank you for your interest in this event. We have had unprecedented demand for this trip, with all tickets selling out within 13 hours!  We have attempted to add a second coach, but sadly we cannot secure all the planned elements of the trip for all the extra travellers. We are very sorry that there will be many disappointed people.

We are not holding a waiting list for this event as the very few cancellations that we do get are inevitably at the very last minute.

Some of us do and some of us don’t like mentioning “Christmas” in September but please think about this exciting trip in December.

The coach will drop us at Royal Greenwich, where we will have an afternoon of shopping in the covered market and boutique style shops, with time to visit the National Maritime Museum and the Queen’s House (both are free entry.)

We will meet our top-notch Blue Badge Tour Guide at Greenwich Pier as the sun sets, for an hour-long cruise to Westminster with a fun and informative Cockney skipper’s commentary. We'll pass Canary Wharf all lit up like a mini-Manhattan. We'll sail beneath a floodlit Tower Bridge and through the glistening City and West End. The coach will meet us at Westminster Pier, ready for a tour of Christmas London by night, seen better from high up in the coach. The tour is not just lights of beautifully illuminated buildings, but we will be taken off the beaten track to see what's new in the capital.

Finally, we'll make a stop at Covent Garden to watch the street performers, and have a Fish & Chip supper, before heading for home.
