Clematis, Chrysanthemums & Cake

We are honoured to have the famous Michael Bowyer MBE to give us a wonderful flower demonstration in early April. Michael is currently the National President of NAFAS (the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies). This is, indeed, the pinnacle of the flower arranging world. He was awarded an MBE for his services to flower arranging and to charity.

Michael’s love of flowers started when he was young, taking part in local shows with his mother. A career in teaching followed, spending some time working in the USA. Upon returning to the UK he joined the local flower club in Salisbury and his flower career took off.

The afternoon will be a joy and a delight to all who attend. On arrival, tea and biscuits will be served while you settle down and chat to friends. A wonderful array of home baked cakes will be served after the demonstration so you won’t need to rush away – yum! The arrangements will be raffled to take home.
