Choral Evensong

From the team who have brought you “Cruising into Christmas” for the last two years. This time we are doing something a little different. A pre-Christmas treat – not on the river this time, but in a Cathedral. Join us on Sunday 24 November when we will meet our Blue Badge Guide in Fulham for an included lunchtime meal of Fish & Chips, with a cheesecake dessert and a hot drink. The restaurant is unlicensed, but feel free to bring your own beverage – there is no corkage charge! Then onwards to Westminster Abbey for Choral Evensong. NB. For anyone who would prefer not to attend the service, which lasts for 45 minutes, why not take the opportunity to take a walk around this fascinating area of London. Then it’s back to the coach for a guided tour of the iconic London landmarks, the glittering shop windows, the world-famous City Christmas Lights and extravagant Regent Street Lights.

At 6pm we stop for an hour to enjoy the street performers, cafes and shops in Covent Garden before heading for home at 7pm

Please note if the Westminster Abbey‘s diary changes we may have to attend another equally impressive London Cathedral.
