A Day Out at Tyntesfield and Aerospace Bristol

For our first outing of 2026, the Out and About Committee are delighted to offer you a welcome return visit to Tyntesfield, an ornate Victorian Gothic Revival house with extensive gardens  and Parklands.  No National Trust place has a bigger collection of objects and of particular interest are the Grand Hall fireplace and the impressive hoard of books. Tyntesfield can boast that the shop is one of the largest in the National Trust, sited in the beautiful setting of the Home Farm area. Food and drinks are available in the Pavilion Café (which at the time of writing outdoor seating only – but as April can be very warm that should not be a problem).   Alternatively there is the Cow Barn Restaurant in the grade II listed Victorian dairy.
