A Day in Richmond

For a truly inspiring day out come and join us on a visit to The Poppy factory. For over 100 years the poppy has been our national symbol of remembrance, and we will visit the place where 3 million poppies and 15,000 poppy wreaths are manufactured. We will meet the veterans who make them and immerse ourselves in the rich history and heritage of the poppy. After an initial presentation, we will be able to partake of included coffee or tea and then take ourselves on a tour of the factory itself, meeting those who those who have dedicated their lives to supporting our Armed Forces community and the disabled veterans who work at the Factory today. After the factory visit we travel the short distance to Richmond, where we can buy lunch, or indulge in a little retail therapy.
