WELCOME TO
OXFORDSHIRE WI
Who Are We
• Oxfordshire WI currently has 117 WIs and over 3,800 members across the County. We offer
our members friendship, fun, education, new opportunities and experiences, and the chance to
be part of an organisation that can really make a difference, both locally and nationally.
• WIs usually meet in-person or virtually once a month where they have speakers and activities.
• We were established in 1915 to give women a voice to talk about what mattered to them on a
local and national level.
• We have local, regional and national events for members to attend, as well as crafting and
sporting activities.
• WI members have their own online area called MyWI and receive WI Life magazine eight
times a year.
• Our members include women of all ages and we are first and foremost a place of friendship
and fun.
• Being a WI member includes opportunities for personal development.
