When The Dogs Don’t Bark

DON’T MISS THIS!

We are thrilled to be offering this fantastic opportunity to meet Angela Gallop CBE who is currently Chief Executive of Forensic Access and Axiom International Ltd and sits on the Independent Police Commission.

“WHEN THE DOGS DON’T BARK” WITH PROFESSOR ANGELA GALLOP CBE Tuesday 28 April 2020

BensonParishHall OX106LZ

10.00am -12.30pm

Come and join us for coffee and cake and meet a real-life woman forensic pathologist (like the fictional Nikki Alexander from the BBC’s Silent Witness)

Angela Gallop has been a practising forensic scientist for over 40 years. The first crime scene she attended was for a case involving the Yorkshire Ripper.

She has set up and run numerous forensic science laboratories personally overseeing the majority of the more complex cases herself. Over the years these have included such notable cases as Damilola Taylor, Rachel Nickell, and more recently, the Coastal Path and Stephen Lawrence murders.

Her book “When the Dogs don’t Bark” A forensic scientist’s search for the truth, was published in 2019. Described as a casebook that reads like the Encyclopaedia of Murder, it is about the evolution of forensic science itself.

You will be able to purchase her new book on the day if you wish.

Please bring your own mug if possible.

Cost: Members £13.00, Non - members £15.00 Closing date: Friday 3 April
