Have you got a cause close to your heart which you would like the WI to campaign on?
Are you disappointed by the scope of the resolutions that were short-listed this year?
Then maybe YOU should submit a resolution to be considered for the next campaign!
Creating a successful resolution is not straightforward, but don't worry, we are here to help you.
We will be holding two workshops in May, where you can find out what makes a resolution successful, how to structure it, what to include. Our Resolution Advisers, Veronica Wilson and Jane Finnerty, will be on hand to help and guide you, and you will go away equipped with the knowledge you need to submit your own resolution. Veronica and Jane have a wealth of experience between them in formulating resolutions and have worked on a number of successful resolutions.
These events are being held on the mornings of 14th and 21st May, in Stoke Row Village Hall Botley WI's hall respectively. The ticket to attend one of these events is just £6.50 and is just to cover the cost of hiring the halls and providing some refreshments.
WIs can, of course, send a representative to one of the workshops and WI funds can cover the costs involved. Individual members are welcome to book places as well ... talk to your WI to see if they will fund your ticket. You can book your place by clicking here and selecting the date which works best for you.
